The "legislature contract" is no use how higher education institutions are going to have to secure a new offer that will "increase the capacity of all higher education students and graduates to process data". But it foresees that by 2023 this opportunity will be given to all those enrolled in higher education, regardless of their field of study, from 'the arts and humanities to the social, natural sciences and engineering and technology'.
In the case of university education, it is specifically envisaged that "100% of new students registered by 2023" will have the "opportunity to obtain data science training". In the polytechnic the same is foreseen, but in the area of “data processing and information processing”.
Regarding school failure and dropout, the aim is to “significantly” reduce the numbers. The Government wants all institutions to have student support programs and to reformulate and introduce new pedagogical methods, such as so-called “active learning” based on the analysis and resolution of concrete problems.
