MAKASSAR – Approaching Eid Al-Fitr, or entering the third week of Ramadan, the Red and White Youth Organization (TMP) of South Sulawesi, again providing food aid to affected communities COVID-19 in Makassar City, Thursday (05/14/2020).
This assistance is a mutual assistance and assistance from several parties, also received full support from the Chairman of the Red Tarpas DPP, Maruarar Sirait.
Previously, TMP which is a PDIP wing organization was on PSBB I then, distributed aid in phase I of 500 packages. Furthermore, in the PSSB phase II there were also 500 packages, also given further assistance in the third stage totaling 650 packages.
South Sulawesi TMP lll stage coordinator, Taufiq Salman said that the activities of the Red and White Youth Organization which is a youth organization showed high concern and as a manifestation of the noble values of Pancasila namely Gotong Royong.
Next, Chairwoman DPD PDI Perjuangan Sulsel Ridwan Andi Witiri said that, the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI Perjuangan) and all its elements continued to be solid in moving to help the people affected by Covid 19 in South Sulawesi.
ARW, as a member of the Republic of Indonesia DPR from South Sulawesi, is familiarly called as emphasizing, as an inseparable part, of course the TMP is obliged to reach out and roll up its arms in order to provide assistance to the community as a form of calling from potential cadres and young shoots of the nation's hopes.
"The cadre of the pioneer cadre is the noble goal of establishing the TMP, in this case the General Chairperson of the Bung National Youth figure, Maruarar Sirait," he said.
In the activity that involved dozens of cadets from the Red and White Cadets, the action was named 'Thursday Cares' and targeted Mariso, Mamajang and Tamalate Districts and directly affected residents such as parking attendants, pedicab drivers, household assistants and people who lost their jobs.
"While the fourth phase of activities is planned to cover areas with certain specifications ahead of entering Eid," said South Sulawesi TMP Chairman Irhamsyah Gaffar.
He also mentioned, in the near future the South Sulawesi TMP will provide assistance to other regions through the regency / city TMP, assistance in the form of PPE, namely hazmat clothing.
"In total, the total South Sulawesi TMP hazmat assistance amounted to 500 units," he said.
In the action, South Sulawesi TMP also involved female cadres such as A Putri Ipo, Sisca Dalawir, Anisa Helmi, Olivia Syauta, Erna Permatasari, Ananda Regita, Adinda Rachel Renata.
"They were the ones who jumped in directly to greet residents and provide assistance," said one of the young leaders of TMP and PDIP, Harry Sabran after the activity.
